This is my 5 incredible star review for Epic Sins by Trudy Stiles.  I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.  This is a book that I was looking forward to read. I will be very cryptic with my review because I would hate to spoil this fabulous story for other readers.  I want the review to be vague enough that the reader doesn't feel like he's already read the book before actually having read it.  But interesting enough where you really want to read it. Trudy's stories are written a certain way, where the reader is kept guessing until she's ready to reveal the punch line of the story.  That's what makes her stories interesting, entertaining, engaging and addictive.

Sam is a 23 year old nurse who loves her job very much and is very passionate about it. She has lost so much in the past and in a traumatic way.  She never lost herself, in the contrary, it shaped her into the young woman she is now.  She is who she is because of her past.  She dedicates her life into helping others.  She's a survivor, protector, loving and independent kind of woman.

Garrett is a self-centred rock star.  Let's say he plays the role real well.  I didn't really like him very much at first.  He got me very frustrated.  But he proved me wrong by stepping up to the plate.  He was scared and reacted on it.  Then circumstances intervenes where they have to be together. Sam opens his eyes to what's important and where his priorities must lay. Eventually he will change and become a better person and care more for others.  They will grow closer and fall in love.  Then there is a twist where Sam can't seem to overcome.  Will she be able to get past it?

I truly enjoyed this brilliant, compelling story.  It's about love, lost, family and finding ones way.  It's a very emotional book.  This story has heart.  Have some Kleenex handy.  Trudy has a unique way to tell a story.  It had been a while since I had read a book written by her.  She goes from a present dual POV to different time periods in a past dual POV.  At first, I was kind of wondering why she is doing that.  I realized that it's important to the story and that's the major key to the developments in this book.  She wants us to be intrigued until the very last page.  What I also liked was that the story was not centred on Garrett’s rock stars ways.

It's beautifully written, the pace was right, the concept and the plot was well thought out. The words jumped from the page to latch on to my heart and soul until the very end. Being a nurse myself, I related well to this fabulous story.  Very difficult to put down once I started reading it.  I couldn't help but feel all their emotions and feelings through these characters.

This a standalone book told via dual POV.  There is no cliff-hanger and as an HEA.  I strongly recommend this book, trust me it will worth your precious time and money.  A great start towards a potential great series.  I also want to recommend the Forever Family Series.  They don't have to be read first in order to savor this book.  I can't wait for Epic Lies and Epic Love.
