This family oriented story is what keeps
me wanting to continue reading these books that are part of the Bennett Family
series. They feature a new Bennett finding love in each and every new
story. This is a sweet, feel me good and angst free kind of book.
This one is about Logan Bennett who is the protector, fixer and take care kind of man. Then he meets Ava's friend, Nadine. Nadine doesn't want to be fixed or protected. She's a very determined young woman who works very hard and doesn't back down when faced with a challenge. She will work really hard in order to make her dreams come true. To own a high fashion clothing store.
The connection between the siblings in this family is phenomenal. They have their ups and downs but above all they look out for each other. It's beautifully written. I like the concept of getting to follow all the Bennett's in each books. Beside the present couple, it was very entertaining and fun.
Where I think it didn't work for me is, the couple itself. I didn't feel any connection, love, romance, chemistry. It's like they were just there. Perhaps the other characters over shadowed Logan & Nadine? There were no major surprises, fairly predictable low key love story.
This series is recommend to be read. Story told in a dual POV with an HEA with a glimpse of the next Bennett to hopefully find their own HEA. I can't really say that this book is a standalone because it's the second of a family series. I would suggest for better enjoyment to start with Your Irresistible Love #1 which is already out. That was a great starting book for this wonderful series.
