Synopsis
It was a bad idea

First
time reading this author and definitely won’t be my last.
What
got me first, I have to admit, was the title. That title could have meant so
many different things, then you add in the cover, then blurb and I was sold.
This
is a fast paced, second chance romance, with both past and present narrative. We
as readers bearing witness to the events of four years prior that lead you into
the present and all of the craziness that ensues. And trust me, with at least
one of the characters present in this story there is some craziness.
But
what makes this book stand out from a lot of second chance romances that came
before it is, while it did have its emotional moments, it wasn’t drowning in
them. There was a whole lot of everything here. Humor, drama, romance, healing.
It consistently moved, in a way that made the book almost impossible to put
down and the writing style easily made it addictive on top of it.
I
also enjoyed getting to where the title did play a part in the story and seeing
it firsthand when you not only hear it within the story but see it firsthand
all over the pages once you’re finished.
If
you’re new to the author like I was, looking for your next romance, or just in
the mood for an addictive and hard to put down novel, look no further than this
one. I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I did. Maybe even more.
