Incredible storytelling.
Believable characters
that humbled themselves to me through their experiences and who they are as people
right from the first few pages. A connection that was maintained all the way to
the end.
This love story wrapped
in a story of healing, for both characters was tremendous and brought with it,
many moments of true feeling as I read their story. Watched them connect. I also
enjoyed the time the author took in bringing these two together. It made it
even more believable and gave me even more faith in them as a couple once the
last page is turned and they are sent out into the world for their future.
The suspense angle of
this story was great in that it played quite nicely with all other aspects
taking place here. The friendship, the romance, the healing, the family dynamics.
It didn’t overshadow any of these other aspects, though it did shine through and
became a main focus when it needed to.
This author is new to
me, but now that I’ve experienced her, I’m looking forward to reading more of
her work in the future.
My thanks to the author
and all others involved in letting me take and read this journey before it’s
official release into the world. Walker and Taylor’s journey is one I won’t
soon forget and I don’t think other readers will either.
