If there were more than 5 stars to rate a book, this is the one I would give it too.  This is the kind of story where I wasn't sure if I wanted to ugly cry gut wrenching tears, laugh or throw my kindle out the window.  It's that intense and an all-time emotional roller coaster ride.  From Renee’s previous books, I knew it was an HEA so that gave me comfort about the outcome.  It's also the kind of book that you can't put down but kind of have too, because you’re chocked up with emotions so strong. 

It's a very powerful love story that lasted over a decade.  It's a first love, second chance and friends to lover kind of story.  

This story is about Matt and Grace who met in college, they became fast friends and best friends.  They were inseparable.  They loved each other something fierce.  They were separated for the summer and then life took them on different paths.  They were apart for 15 years by circumstances out of their control.

The first part of the story is told by Matt’s point of view.  It starts in the present where Matts sees Grace from afar but loses her again.  He wants to reconnect with her.  He never forgot about his first love.

The second part is where it's told by different point of views, 15 years earlier.  Grace his a free spirited, strong willed young women.  She made the best out of difficult situations.  Matt his a fun loving young man who loves Grace very much and would do anything to make her happy.

The third part of the story is where it all comes together.  The past clashing with the future.  In order to have a future together they must deal with 15 years of circumstances that were out of their control.  

Renee Carlino is a great story teller and has the ability to keep me reading for hours. She got me to feel connected with this characters that are portrayed throughout the book.  With each stories she writes, she outdoes herself each and every time.  All her books are worth reading.  

  

It's a standalone with an HEA.  I strongly recommend this book and all her previous books also.  It's by far one of my favourites this year.
